Notice: SF Paratransit Now Accepts MuniMobile Tickets

Individuals who wish to purchase one-way SF Paratransit van ride tickets using their smartphones may do so by using the MuniMobile app.  MuniMobile SF Paratransit van tickets can be purchased at their current value of $2.25 per one-way fare.  MuniMobile tickets are stored on your smartphone and can be activated for use up to 90 days from purchase.  When the SF Paratransit fare increases to $2.50 on July 1, 2017 (see above for information about fare increases), MuniMobile tickets already stored on your smartphone will still cover the full cost of the one-way fare.  MuniMobile tickets purchased on or after July 1, 2017 will cost $2.50 per one-way fare.  To download the app, search MuniMobile on iTunes or GooglePlay and choose the SF Access category when purchasing tickets.  For more detailed instructions describing how to purchase and use MuniMobile tickets, click here.  The MuniMobile ticket service is managed by SFMTA.  Please visit SFMTA's website or call 311 for more information.

Current Fare Information:

SF Access fares must be paid in cash or with prepaid tickets on the SF Paratransit vehicle at the time of service. If paying in cash, please have the exact fare amount ready for payment as you board; NO CHANGE IS GIVEN. Each ticket is equal to the full fare. Companions or guests traveling with an eligible rider must pay the full fare. A personal care attendant (PCA), as defined under the ADA, rides for free when accompanying a certified rider.

Paratransit Taxi fares are paid using a SF Paratransit debit card issued to pre-authorized riders. Value must be added to the card prior to use. Monthly debit card value purchases are limited by the individual's monthly purchase allotment. When a rider is first enrolled, a standard monthly allotment is assigned. Patrons may request an allotment increase, subject to review and approval by SF Paratransit staff, based upon typical monthly need. Monthly allotments will be strictly enforced.

Tickets and debit card value may be purchased in person from the San Francisco Paratransit Broker office at 68 - 12th Street, 1st Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103-1297 or through the mail at the same address. Purchases by cash, Visa, or MasterCard must be made in person. Purchases by check or money order may be made in person or by mail. When purchasing by mail, please allow up 4 to 6 days from receipt of your payment for return delivery. A $15 fee will be assessed for each bounced check. Patrons with unpaid fees or repeated bounced checks may be subject to disciplinary action, including suspension of riding privileges.
